Systems Strategist
United Way of the Blue Mountains/Elevate

As the Systems Strategist for United Way of the Blue Mountains, Heather leads the design, implementation, and continuous refinement of systems that strengthen Collective Impact work across the region. She currently guides the organization’s Kindergarten Readiness and Middle School Development initiatives, supporting multi-sector partners in building aligned, equity-centered strategies that improve outcomes for children and youth. In her role, Heather creates scalable frameworks, facilitates inclusive collaboration, and fosters shared ownership to drive measurable progress. She builds strong, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders, develops communication and engagement approaches that keep partners informed and connected, and leverages data-driven insights to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Her work centers on advancing sustainable systems change that elevates community voice, strengthens decision-making, and supports long-term, transformative community outcomes.

She was born and raised in Walla Walla and has lived in Prescott for the past 15 years. With 12 years of experience in education and an additional 3 years in social services and nonprofit work, Heather brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Science and is passionate about fostering connections, promoting social and emotional wellness, and empowering individuals within her community. In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling, attending live music events, painting, and spending quality time with her husband and two children.
