Hi! My name is Anna Inman, and I am the College and Career Readiness Advisor for both Walla Walla High School and College Place High School. I am passionate about walking alongside students and families as they plan for life after high school. My goal is to help students see that every career pathway looks different and that there are so many wonderful opportunities waiting for them.
I was born and raised right here in the Walla Walla Valley. My parents are from El Salvador, so Spanish was my first language and I am proud to be fully bilingual. I graduated from Walla Walla University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish, which allowed me to study abroad in Spain. Because I love learning, I also earned two master’s degrees in Teaching English as a Second Language and Reading.
I have spent the last eight years working in education. I was a classroom teacher for five years and a Migrant Program coordinator for three years. These experiences showed me how unique every student's journey is, and nothing brings me more joy than helping students set goals and take confident steps toward their future.
Outside of school, I coach girls' soccer at Walla Walla High School. In my free time, I love to golf, though I am much better at loving the game than playing it! My husband is a basketball coach and Sports Information Director at Walla Walla University, and we have a beautiful two-year-old daughter named Abigail who is my absolute world.
I am so excited to work with you and help you achieve your dreams. Please know that my door is always open, and I am here to support you in any way I can!
